Teach Your Kids Reading & Memorizing Quran Initial Age



Muslims all around the world read the Quran for guidance and attain blessings from ALLAH. Quran contains knowledge on nearly everything and helps a person to recognize the purpose of life and differentiating between right and wrong. Quran is a word of ALLAH and absolute truth, a person who faces any difficulty or worry in life should read the Quran to find comfort and solution for his/her problems.

Muslim parents all around the world make their kids learn Quran recitation early in their childhood. Kids have amazing ability to learn new knowledge and skills which is why they can effectively learn the Quran recitation which will remain with them even when they grow old. Also, Quran is in Arabic language which can be difficult to read and understand if a person’s native language is not Arabic.  Muslims parents can make their kids learn proper Quran reading by either sending them to mosques or by selecting a Quran teacher who can regularly come to the house. Mostly parents who do not find a suitable Quran teacher send their kids to mosque where Quran learning classes are held. In mosques there are many students present and Quran tutors divide the kids according to their age and learning capability. But as many students are present and reciting at the same time, the errors made by some of the kids are sometimes missed by the Quran tutor.



Many parents prefer Quran teacher at home as it is not only convenient for them but also for the kids as kids can have one on one interaction with the Quran tutor. The Quran teacher is qualified and experienced to teach the kids proper Quran recitation with Tajweed rules which is the most authentic manner to read and understand the Quran. Muslim parents can also appoint a female Quran teacher for their daughters as some kids are more comfortable in the presence of a female tutor. The Quran teacher first teaches the Arabic alphabets to the kids so that they get familiar with the Arabic letters which are present in the holy Quran. 

The length of a Quran recitation lesson depends on the age of the kid. The Quran tutor first make the kids read and memorize short verses so that they become self-sufficient in reciting the long verses. The Quran tutors read a single Quran verse and ask the kids to repeat after them, any mistakes made by the kids is corrected immediately. Mostly four or five lines are given as a homework lesson to the kids which they have to recite the next day.
